Landsman Raises More Than Twice as Much as Rep. Chabot in the Third Quarter

CINCINNATI — Democratic nominee for OH-01 Greg Landsman has strong momentum heading into the final stretch of the campaign.

Landsman reported $984,890.94 raised in Q3 compared to $425,866.60 raised by Chabot, more than doubling the 13-term incumbent’s total raised. In fact, despite having only been in the race since January of 2022, Landsman has now raised over $300,000 more than Chabot this cycle. Landsman has raised over $2 million.

On the heels of this filing and after a $2.3 million barrage of negative ads, Landsman’s internal polling shows him leading 49-46. The sample was Biden +4, leaning more conservative than the district’s makeup. Landsman is winning with independent voters, and this group views Chabot unfavorably by 18 points. In fact, 52 percent of likely voters view him unfavorably. He’s in the worst position he’s ever been in weeks before Election Day. The full polling memo can be found here.

Landsman: We have the momentum in this race, but we have to finish strong. We’ve consistently outraised him, we’re leading in the polls, and we’ve had three decisive debates.

Washington is making it harder to raise a family, and Chabot is a part of the problem. He’s spent decades in Washington doing nothing to cut costs and raise wages for families here in Southwest Ohio. He’s an election denier, an anti-choice extremist, and he’s all in on the chaos of Trump.

Chabot is going to keep voting against us until we vote against him. This year, we’re going to.”
