Clear Contrast Between Landsman & Chabot in Second Debate

CINCINNATI — Tonight, Democratic nominee in OH-01 Greg Landsman participated in the 2022 WLWT OH-01 debate. 

Landsman: “Tonight’s debate showed voters why this election is so important. While Chabot is focused on his DC talking points and campaign lies, I am here making it easier to raise a family. I’m fighting to bring costs down and working to keep our neighborhoods safe. But we need a representative in DC to work with us, not against us.

Chabot continues to vote against us. He sided with the insurrectionists on January 6th at the expense of our democracy and he just voted against efforts to prevent another coup. He sided with his Big Pharma donors when he voted against lowering healthcare costs and on his extraordinarily cruel vote against capping the cost of insulin. He sided with his party bosses when he voted against a bill to help rebuild our roads and bridges that Senator Portman helped write. 

Chabot will keep voting against us until we vote against him. We have to get costs down and end the chaos of Trump and Chabot. Chabot has proven over his nearly three decades in Washington he won’t be that leader. I will. I am running to protect our democracy, keep our neighborhoods safe, restore fundamental freedoms, and fix our broken economy because we have to make it easier to raise a family.”

This was the second of three scheduled debates in OH-01. The final debate is on October 13th.
