New Ad Highlights Landsman’s Work to Lower Costs For Families

CINCINNATI — Landsman for Congress released its second TV advertisement today.

The ad, titled “Briana,” features Briana Ellis, a mother of three who can afford quality preschool for her children because of the Cincinnati Preschool Promise. Democratic Nominee in OH-01 Greg Landsman successfully led this effort which now provides two years of quality preschool for Cincinnati’s three and four-year-olds.

“Nothing is more important to me than the education of my children,” Briana Ellis said. “Greg Landsman’s work to pass the Preschool Promise made preschool affordable for my family and thousands of others like us. As a former teacher and a parent of a young family, Greg gets it. We need him in Congress fighting for our children and families.”

“From education and childcare to groceries and gas, we need leaders who actually work to get costs down for our families,” Greg Landsman said. “I am proud of the work we did to make preschool affordable for thousands of Cincinnati families. When I am in Congress, I will continue to work to get costs down for families.”

Greg is running against 13-term incumbent Rep. Chabot in a district President Biden won by 8.5 points in 2020.  Chabot has consistently voted against efforts to bring prices down for families. This year he has voted against the Child Tax Credit, lowering prescription drug costs, capping the cost of insulin, stopping price gouging at the gas pump, and more.

Ad Transcript:

Nothing is more important to me than the education of my children.

But preschool costs $10,000 a year.

As a single mom, I can’t afford that for three kids.

Greg Landsman helped us. Greg made preschool affordable for thousands of families like mine.

Greg was a teacher. He sends his own children to public schools in the city, and he just gets it.

He believes that all children deserve the same opportunities, and my kids have benefitted from that.

We need parents like him in Congress.
